Trustee Director Kate Leigh, an accredited member of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees (APPT), was recently put forward as a candidate for a vacant Council Member position at the APPT. The election, which was by secret ballot, saw the voting end at 5pm on Wednesday 2 November 2022, with the results announced at their most recent AGM Tuesday 8 November 2022.

With the votes now counted, we’re delighted to confirm Kate was successful in being named as the latest Council Member on the APPT board.

On her appointment, Kate commented: “I am absolutely delighted to have been elected to the APPT Council by my peers in the industry. I am looking forward to bringing my legal and professional trustee experience to the Council and working with my fellow Council members to build on the APPT’s achievements over the past few years and in doing so, continue to improve standards in the pensions industry and ultimately deliver better outcomes for pensions members.”
