Adrian joined 20-20 Trustees in September 2020 and brings with him more than 10 years of pension industry experience.
Adrian has experience managing a broad range of issues as in-house scheme secretary of multi-billion pound DB and DC schemes, and a leading Master Trust and Independent Governance Committee, including:
-The development of trustee board structures and processes, including committees reporting;
-The development of robust governance and risk management frameworks;
-Working with Trustees and advisers through challenging DB triennial valuations and funding negotiations;
-Implementation of a complex multi-year de-risking programme for a large DB scheme;
-Introduction of additional DC investment options and managing the associated member communications;
-Playing a leading role in the preparation of a flagship Master Trust’s authorisation application, and working closely with The Pensions Regulator’s team throughout the authorisation process; and
-Ensuring all member communications are appropriate, timely, and accurate.
Adrian’s pension roles have equipped him with a wide range of experience in all aspects of running DB and DC pension schemes. He has specific expertise in governance and will continue to help schemes overcome and improve their own governance challenges and frameworks.
Adrian is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
