Dana joined 20-20 Trustees in September 2020 as Head of Business Development. She has twenty years’ experience in investments and a background in behavioural and cognitive psychology.
Dana started her career at Bernstein in New York working with Canadian pension schemes and their global value equity portfolios. Throughout her ten years at Bernstein, and subsequently AllianceBernstein, Dana managed teams dedicated to providing comprehensive investment solutions to all types of investors including ERISA and non-ERISA plans, ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, foundations, endowments, charities, and corporates.
Passionate about ethics and integrity and the behaviours that drive change in the financial services industry, Dana spent five years with CFA Institute working with asset managers, banks, exchanges, brokers and advisory firms across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Much of her work focused on helping developing economies build robust financial services ecosystems through education and government/regulatory/industry engagement.
Most recently, Dana was a Business Development Director with Cardano, a specialist fiduciary manager. Cardano Group acquired Lincoln Pensions, a specialist covenant adviser, in late 2016 so Dana spent much of her time there working across covenant and investment disciplines to create a compelling integrated risk management proposition for the Group.
Dana studied Biology, Psychology and Sociology at Cornell University in New York and is currently a CFA candidate. She was selected to participate in and completed the 2016 Investment Management Workshop at Harvard Business School.
With her lifelong study of people, she knows that cognitive diversity is always a competitive advantage and sits on the steering committees of several diversity-focused groups including The Diversity Project, CFA Society United Kingdom Inclusion & Diversity Network, and the PLSA Diversity & Inclusion External Advisory Group. She has been a mentor for the Hackney Schools Mentoring Programme and actively supports initiatives including Investment20/20 and SEO that bring young people from diverse backgrounds into the investment and pension industries.
