The Pensions Protection Fund (PPF)
2020 Trustees is one of the industry leaders in PPF work, both before insolvency in brokering deals and in transition following insolvency.
With a reputation for dynamism and a risk based approach, we have drastically reduced the time taken to transition our schemes.
We have worked pro-actively with the PPF since its inception, helping to design processes and project management tools that are now widely used by all Panel members.
Pre insolvency, our CEO, Antony Miller has a national reputation for brokering deals between sponsors, trustees and the PPF, often being the first person to turn to in difficult distressed situations.
The Pensions Regulator (TPR)
2020 Trustees has satisfied the rigorous requirements of tPR’s Register, including having successfully completed an audit of internal controls procedures, the Audit and Assurance Facility (AAF).
2020 Trustees is on the Pensions Regulator’s Register and has a number of Regulator appointments, to deal with complex or conflict situations.
Our directors and employees deal with pensions related conflicts on a daily basis in our role as trustee and adviser, and a cornerstone of an independent professional trustee appointment is to reconcile those conflicts.
Good governance and processes are key to convincing the Regulator that we have the wherewithal to do this effectively and professionally.
