We are delighted to announce that Julia Yates has won ‘Trustee of the Year’ at the 2020 Rising Star Awards.
Nadeem Ladha was also shortlisted for the same award.
Julia Yates brings her expertise in employer covenant and affordability to the team and has experience developing appropriate long term investment and funding strategies that work for both the Trustees and scheme sponsors. Working with schemes ranging from £10m to over £1bn across sectors including industrial products and manufacturing, energy, telecoms, construction, professional services and not for profit organisations, Julia helps Trustee Boards and employers focus on strategic priorities and reaching a sensible commercial outcome that’s a win-win for everyone.
Nadeem Ladha is a Trustee Director with over 15 years’ experience in the sector. His expertise in dealing with complex funding and investments, corporate transactions and specialist fund transactions makes him perfectly placed to add significant value to our growing client portfolio.
As well as his work at 20-20 Trustees, Nadeem is the co-founder of the #DiversityInPensions initiative which was established in 2019 with the aim of promoting diversity in senior decision-making roles within the pensions industry. Nadeem wants to unlock the hidden and untapped talent within the sector and the initiative works to encourage and enable a richer and more open and frequent dialogue via a number of channels.
Both Julia and Nadeem are part of a new generation of trustees at 20-20 Trustees.
